12.05.2010. Makarska's maternity ward has received the Ministry of Health to close down. Milinovic said that nursery failed to adapt because they do not meet health criteria. Citizens are outraged by this decision of the Minister, close to something that is necessary for all people, regardless of political orientation, all this is considered the greatest disgrace in this region, they are all concerned about the future of Makarska.
